MY MOST COMMON ISSUES
WITH NEW BIDDERS:
I hold a 99.8% satisfaction rating out of over 1588 positive comments (over 1303 from unique users). You just don't get that high of a rating by making people mad. But some people think that everyone is out to rip them off and that I created that 99+% just so I could get over on them. So......If things don't go 100% the way you thought they would, simply be nice to me and I will be nice to you. If you go and threaten me right off I will assume you also want to be treated that way. Don't insult me and send me an email with a certain price that you will pay for something out of auction. I will be happy to put up an auction for you instead. If you send me daily/hourly threating emails because UPS lost track of your box, the minimum I will do is ban you from my auctions and have my filter take your emails to the deleted file and I will notify your server, ISP and eBay and then you can file a claim with the carrier without my help. I don't mind contacting UPS for insurance purposes but don't blame me if UPS acknowledges it lost your shipment and do NOT expect me to come up with the money and ship another one out. If you didn't purchase INSURANCE, don't expect another shipped!!! If you call me several times a day asking for a date, being obscene, threats, etc the maximum will involve a complaint to ebay and I turn over the recordings to the Police and State Attys Office and you can deal with their drama if they decide to make you an issue. I'll be glad to talk about your Golf Cart but THAT IS ALL!!!!
COPY AND PASTE USING THE MOUSE
1. Put the mouse at the beginning of what you want to copy and click the left
mouse button, holding it down while you drag over the section.
2. Drag across or down. At the end of what you want copied, let go of the mouse button. What you want to copy should be highlighted! (If you goof, click the mouse button once to unhighlight, then start over.)
3. While it's highlighted, hold down the Ctrl key and hit the letter "c". This copies the highlighted part to an invisible clipboard.
4. Now go to where you want to paste it (your mail to us). Put the cursor on that spot by clicking the left mouse button once. Now hold down the Ctrl key and hit the letter "v" to paste what you copied.
DO NOT use email addresses other than the one registered with ebay or I most likely will not know what the HELL you are talking about nor will I be able to match it up to any auction. Using an email address other than the one registered in ebay will only cause us both grief and could turn a nice auction into a nightmare with a bunch of unecessary drama so please keep it the way it is supposed to be and use only email addresses registered with ebay. Also, Use your "REPLY" button and not your "CREATE EMAIL" button. This will enable me to see what we have been talking about. Unless we talked in email less than an hour ago, I won't retain what we talked about. If you send me an email to one I sent a few days or more ago, I won't know what we talked about unless you include ALL other emails with it. I'm sure this has happened to you too, so you know where I'm coming from.
I take PayPal. I don't take any other form of internet payment so don't send me any!! Don't send BidPoint, Western Union, BillPay, c2it, Out of Country Bank Checks, etc, etc, etc, etc. WHEN IN DOUBT Please refer to the auction requirements/conditions and your winning bidder notification and do ONLY what was offered in the auction. If you do anything else, as they say in the ARMY...."YOU ARE WRONG". My PayPal email is "ricki@greensandgo.com"
This is so sad, and it happens all the time. Bidders NEVER seem to read the auctions, I guess they look at the picture and bid. Also, a new bidder has a minor problem and jumps the gun and leaves negative feedback in ebay. Because of this, I will NEVER leave feedback first. If you don't like it, don't bid. If you do not agree with it, DO NOT BID and go someplace else to save us from arguing about leaving feedback first. Please rest assured, I will do almost anything in my power to make you happy, so don't run and neg me! IF you work with me, we can leave each other some awesome praise! I will NEVER NEVER NEVER leave neg feedback first. I do NOT believe in retalitory feedback either, however I will find something seriously wrong with your end of the transaction and leave neg feedback based on that and it will stick in ebay, test me!
Negative/Neutral Feedback is used to punish a seller/bidder when basically you have been ripped off. I don't fall into that catagory. I have no intention of "ripping" anyone off. You pay, I send. It's pretty simple. IF I underestimate shipping then my fault and I will eat it. I charge Shipping and Handling because I have to pay for all my padded envelopes, tape, packing material, different sized boxes, etc, etc, etc. You would not believe my shipping room. I have over $2,000 in boxes alone. My S&H are listed plain as day in each auction, thus if you don't like it, DON'T BID!!!! I treat everyone the same as I would want to be treated as a buyer in any store. Neg/Neu feedback PERMANENTLY damages one's Ebay account, and so must be used ONLY after ALL OTHER REMEDIES HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED. I have several positive feedback comments left me by bidders that didn't have what "I" would call a perfect transaction, however I made it right and then some, and those buyers were so impressed that they felt only GLOWING feedback was appropriate. If you do not agree with this concept, PLEASE DO NOT BID on any of my auctions and go someplace else.
Ebay is soooo simple, you just win and send the money. After 7 days, I file a NPB alert automatically. Don't take offense to it, it's just something that must be done so I can get my money back from eBay for the auction in a timely manner. Some people think it is a joke to win and never pay or reply and even cancel after winning. That will simply get that person suspended from Ebay as I promise to file a Non Paying Bidder alert. After 3 NPB alerts, people are suspended. Don't be that person! I want you to stay in eBay and come back! I also get so many excuses (my son bid, my password was stolen, My spouse just brought the same piece thru the front door after I bid, I bidded on the wrong part and bought it elsewhere, I can't get my PayPal password, my PayPal is locked up for a few weeks, my dog died, I was in jail, etc...) simply pay for the auction and resell it if you wish!! I have to pay eBay listing fees, final valuations fees and sometimes PayPal deposit fees. Remember, AMSCOT gives FREE money orders. Just email me that you are sending a money order instead of PayPal. I will NOT give NEG FEEDBACK first but I will file a NPB alert on you in a heartbeat unless you contact me and arrange otherwise. I have NO CHOICE as that is what eBay requires in order for me to recoup the final valuation money I was charged for your bidding. I consider myself very easy going and understanding but I'm not a mind reader, you MUST contact me if you are having a financial problem. Also, I can only send you so many ignored emails until it's obviously time for the NPB alert.
If you live in Florida or the shipping address is in Florida, you are paying 7% Pinellas County Sales tax. Don't try to weasel out of it. Don't give me some sorry excuse that because this is eBay, you don't have to pay sales tax. If you don't like it, don't bid.
As stated in several of my auctions, some items may be instock, on order or backordered. If you can't wait a week maybe two, then do as the auction says DO NOT BID or email for availability. We are a store front business and the Ebay office is closed on the weekends and Monday. I can email you on days closed and answer most questions but I can't look in the store for anything until I get to work. EBAY GUIDELINES GRANTS BOTH PARTIES A STATUTORY THREE DAY PERIOD TO RESPOND TO E-MAIL! I answer ALL email. If you don't get a reply, something else may be wrong and it's NOT ON MY END. My number is (727) 544-0067. You may also call 24 hrs a day and leave voice mail. If I'm not in, talk to someone else in the store. Everyone here is somewhat computer literate and knows what eBay is to a degree. If you refuse to talk to someone and refuse to leave a voice mail then it's on you obviously.
Please realize I use UPS/USPS to ship, and like all other shippers they never seem to do it fast enough! Everyone wants it yesterday! Customers sometimes do not make the distinction between the Post Office/UPS and me. My part is done when I meet my promise to you and deposit the package in the mails or give it to UPS when I said I would. The Post Office or UPS has it then. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ME NEGATIVE OR NEUTRAL FEEDBACK IF THE POST OFFICE OR UPS DOES NOT DO ITS JOB! Go to their website and leave THEM NEG or NEUTRAL FEEDBACK, NOT ME YOU TWIT!! However, If you don't get the package within two weeks from USPS or if UPS tells you they lost it then lets try to get them to replace it and I will do everything in my power to help you but it's NOT coming out of my pocket! Buy insurance when using the Post Office. UPS automatically insures everything up to $100, over that amount comes out of YOUR pocket unless you purchased additional insurance. I ship perfect boxes and if UPS loses it, runs over it, the plane crashes in the ocean during a storm and the box ends up with a UPS employee on a deserted island or whatever and you didn't have enough insurance on it don't expect me to make up the difference out of my pocket any longer. I did that once and received NEG FEEDBACK for it so no more nice person. I didn't do it so don't NEGATIVE FEEDBACK me about it. You have the right to leave neg feedback about it and I have the right to leave neg feedback about you not opting for insurance. So far this has not happened but you know Murphy's Law. Also, if you auction ends on Fri, don't expect me to always ship the same day. I will probably ship Monday. Even during the week it may take me 3 days after the auction to ship, especially if someone wins a complicated auction and snipes it at the last second when I didn't expect anyone to bid on it. Now I have to jump thru the hoops to get it out?? I can't do that to all unbidded auctions. I'd go crazy, oooops toooo late. Like I said, it may take me 2 or 3 days to get that one auction out to you, be patient. I get NO help around here shipping.
This DOES NOT APPLY to multiple wins that are shipped from "DIFFERENT VENDORS" (example: 4 seat conversion and overhead stereo console would NOT be eligible for combined shipping because the conversion comes from South Carolina and the console comes from Florida. example 2: Sebring steering wheel and battery condition meter, comes from 2 different places and NOT eligible for combined shipping.) and it is the bidders responsibility to notify me so I may adjust invoices. I will combine shipping charges on winners of multiple bids and multiple bids within a reasonable time frame (example: Overhead Stereo console won 4Jul and speakers won 10Jul as they come from the same vendor AND if it is ok to ship together from the winning bidder), as stated, if they are shipped from the same vendor AND if the bidder notifys me in ADVANCE before paying ANYTHING. I sell over $18,000 a month and I get over 7,000 emails every 2 months. I can't check every single auction to see if someone bidded on another of my auctions. I DO NOT want to over charge for shipping but if you pay for the auctions and they are shipped, do not expect a shipping refund. It's NOT because I don't want to give it back, it's because I can't get it back, I don't have it. The store has it and I can't touch it. About the only thing that is within my power is to offer you "X" amount of disputed shipping & handling off your next purchase. Of course it's NOT really "disputed" because it was plainly spelled out on each auction. As stated, I can adjust invoices to a degree around here and I would GLADLY do that for you. Please notify me BEFORE paying for ANYTHING so I may adjust the invoices for item cost and shipping. I have a LOT of happy bidders whom I have combined shipping for them, check my feedback but there is always ONE PERSON who does not seem to have the sence that GOD gave them and wants to complain about what they did. DO NOT email me and tell me you had multiple wins in the past and expect a refund on shipping. Once it is payed for and shipped it's consider "case closed". Many of my auctions state "you may combine shipping..." Notice the word "YOU" and not "ME" or "I". It does NOT say "I will combine shipping...." does it????? I'm not a mind reader, if you don't tell me I won't know. It's a LOT easier for me to adjust an invoice than try to get money out of this store for a post/pre shipping adjustment. It just won't happen. If you want to leave neg feedback, so be it, I don't care and nobody else does either in ebay, it won't hurt my sales, trust me. I consider it YOUR FAULT and not mine but would GLADLY work it out with you in the future as it would please me that you were able to get a better deal. You MAY even get an excellent price for a part you always wanted, a price that NOBODY else would get, on top of your excess shipping back, but the decision is up to "YOU" in the end. Choose Wisely!!
It never fails to amaze me that SO MANY people can't figure out that they need to put their auction number with their payment. Seriously people, I get dozens of payments with nothing more then "Thanks"! Sometime I do NOT even get that, all I get is a money order. There is NO item number, NO return address, NO description. I have no idea what to do with these. Understand that I manage many weeks worth of auctions at different stages at a time, and that while I strive to give you personal assistance, I need to know who you are and what you got!
I GOTTA HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFO WITH YOUR PAYMENT: Your name, address, phone number optional (for personal contact and UPS shipping label - Phone Number is MANDATORY for DHL and FedEx thus I don't use them), item number of each auction you won from me and the YEAR/MAKE/MODEL/COLOR SEAT and if your cart is 36v, 48v or Gas would solve a lot of problems too. That's all! If you do not include this information as stated in my winning bidders notification I sent you, I will email you again and again, look up your phone number in the white pages, etc. This can delay shipping for many days because you didn't completely read the initial "winning bidders notification" for information requested I sent you.
As stated, I never leave feedback first because of what has happened in the past. If your not happy, contact me first!! If you don't like any of these policy's, DO NOT BID!! Go somewhere else and no hard feelings. If you bid, it is assumed you have read this policy page as stated in ALL my auctions before you bid, read my policy page. I DO NOT have to leave feedback first, nothing in ebay says I do so dont email me and try to tell me of this "rule" that does not exsist!! Thus like countless other sellers in ebay who have been wronged, I will NOT leave feedback first. I provide this as my side of the story to my neg feedback. I have received 2 neg feedback in the past 4 years (the third one was supposed to be positive). You can be the judge. I'm not here to rip anyone off. First.....I respond to EVERYONES email. I do NOT ignore anyone. Why would I want to ignore a sale or potential sale?? Go figure, money is money and it all adds up wether it's a $2.50 patch, $1,200 Tilt Lift or a $2500.00 Cart. Every email I get with a question gets hit with the "reply" button on my outlook express. If you are not getting them then something is wrong on your end. If you don't get an email back, then call me. My phone number is everywhere. I send out invoices and emails after auctions and on rare occasions they come back returned as the email used in ebay is no longer valid by the buyer. This happened again very recently with someone. It took almost a week for "us" to make contact with each other. I found his phone number in the white pages on the computer using his shipping address and he gave me his new email thus I was able to ask my question to get his auction on track again however it is now a week late in shipping but that was NOT my fault. It's not my responsibility to keep YOUR email address current in eBay. Although the shipping was longer than I would have liked, we both left each other glowing feedback. He is very happy with his product and I'm happy that he got what he wanted.
Getting back on track, as stated, I don't leave Neg feedback first but if I get hit with it, rest assured the transaction will be Neg bothways and you can take that to the bank. I want to make you happy to the best of my ability however we have some crazy people in here that you just can't please no matter what you try to do. We even have one local NUT case that is banned from the store, he is the "self-appointed" security guard at a local MHP. The MHP have tried to deal with him but as we all know you can't talk to a drunk. Anyway, that is to give you an idea of how this person is. I won't go into detail why he is banned but he stole a new golf cart tire from the store for starters. This is to let you know their are the same type of people who bid in ebay. These are the ones I'm talking about, they are 1% of 1% but nevertheless they are there. They complain because the UPS guy left it on their doorstep. They complain because you didn't email them in 1 day. They complain because you won't take their credit card number over the phone. They complain because you put their order in an envelope with cardboard support. I have read a lot of neg feedback and 96% of it on ebay is bogus. They leave neg feedback about the stupidest things and not wether they are happy or not with the product. I have had "troubled" transactions when I'm a buyer but I don't jump the gun and leave neg feedback for it when I finally got product. Once an item I bought had several pieces broken during use, not shipment, and nothing was mentioned in the auction about the broken pieces, in fact it was described as NEW but used but yet the pieces were beyond repair and should have been thrown out instead of sold on eBay. Auction further stated IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT if using PayPal. I used PayPal and almost 2 weeks later I requested the UPS tracking number. I was told it was going out UPS tomorrow and got it almost a month later. I know UPS does NOT take that long however I felt I still got my moneys worth and still left pos feedback. Another auction was over 02Oct and it's after New Years now, I still have not received my product and the seller is saying "please wait". I just left him Pos feedback because he is going to refund my money since it's been almost 90 days. Life is too short, if someone does everything in good faith and humanly possible, then what else can you ask for.
Further: A lot of things are just out of control of the seller. If I didn't purchase insurance then why should I leave neg feedback to the seller? I had one instance whereas the buyer didn't purchase ins and the item never made it. I reshipped the item out of my own pocket and he left me neg feedback. That is what I get for being nice. I could have told him insurance should have been purchased and you are just going to have to wait until UPS finishes it's trace and investigation but I can't do that, that is not my nature. Anyway, he left me neg feedback after I paid for a second shipment out of my own pocket. I learned my lesson and it won't happen again. And to be ironic, this SAME person purchases from me again and leaves 2 pos feedback, go figure.
Another guy won the auction for 10 inch GOLD rims on 28Mar Friday night when the auction closed. He was extremely polite in his emails. He asked if they came in another color and I told him they come in two colors GOLD or CHROME but I don't have the chrome in stock but can get them for him for no extra charge as I wanted to get him what he would be happy with for years to come so he didn't have to look at something he didn't really want to get. I should have kept my big mouth shut but noooooooooo I wanted to make someone happy again. He said ok and would wait so I ordered the chrome ones first thing Monday morning since the auction closed on Fri. 5 days later I told him the Chrome should be in Monday, he didn't want to wait and wanted the gold. I boxed up the gold on my day off and got them ready to go out UPS on Monday 7Apr when the chrome ones came in. I called him and asked what he wanted still on my other day off, he said CHROME, I shipped the chrome and I know he got them a few days later UPS. The "nice" person left me neg feedback and lies and says it took 3 weeks, look at your calendar, go figure. I should have kept my mouth shut and just ship the gold in the auction but that is what you get for trying to help people get what they really want and doing it all on your days off. Now he has CHROME hubcaps on his cart what he always wanted and I have negative feedback, go figure.
Now I got this other "winner" of a "Dodge Trucks" patch who says I don't respond to his emails. He lives about 4 miles from me. I have answered ALL his emails with the same name/address/phone number, as in my checkout, to send payment to and all of them being ignored. I know he is getting the emails as none of them are coming back. He used checkout and I sent a winning bidders notification and request for payment thru ebay to him not to mention my answers to all his emails. I'm not complaining about "not receiving my emails" but none of my emails have bounced back and this person has the nerve to say he does not know where to send the money (yeah right, do the math "Can you say STORE LINK"? "Can you say TOLL FREE NUMBER? "Can you say My Address and Phone Number are on EVERY checkout used"?) thus and I don't answer his emails and he leaves neg feedback for a $2.50 patch?? I find it more exceptionally strange that he NEVER put his shipping address in any of the emails he sent me that I replied to. I really really really want to send him his patch as they don't do me any good sitting around here. He says he does not know what to do?? He can walk into the store if he wanted too, thats how close he lives, to be more exact, we are BOTH off US-19. He does not need a toll free number, I'm local calling to him whoever he is. What else can I do? They could have taken more initative and checked my "aboutme" page and found other ways of contacting me, not to mention everyone in ebay can contact ebay for seller/buyer contact information but nooooooooooo now I got a 3rd neg feedback because of them not receiving email??? I answered all emails and figured the "check was in the mail" but it wasn't because of a computer glitch on their end, not mine. You be the judge.
Seems like everyone who leaves neg feedback is new to ebay and has less than 15 feedback or so.
Should I ban everyone with less than 15 feedback from ALL my auctions??
I'm not trying to put anyone down. I'm just trying to point out how STUPID some reasons of the Neg Feedback is. If your going to use Neg Feedback, do it for a non-trivial reason people!! Not because of 5 day shipping time, NOT because of UPS acknowleges lost box, NOT because of not receiving email. Do it because you got screwed, ripped off, false advertising, etc, to warn other bidders not to buy from this seller because they are using eBay to rip people off. If you do it because of trivial reasons, you lesson the purpose of NEG FEEDBACK and the real bad guys are going to get over more because nobody is going to take the time to read NEG FEEDBACK anymore before sending money because of all the STUPID things they read in the past they will think this is the same case too, until they check feedback when their product does not arrive.
Also, something off topic here.... I can't believe the favorite pastime for my neighbors to play SOAP on ebay. You play "eBay SOAP" by clicking on all the unregistered users you can find and read their neg feedback. They do this 12 or more hrs day and night. JESUS, GET A LIFE!!!!
Don't you ever want to be able to reach thru the monitor and throttle peoples necks????
